10 Ways to Fail in Life, Almost Guaranteed

So you want to be successful in life? Is that what you want? Then you better stop failing and become aware of these 10 ways to fail in life.
You see, I've been asked many times for how to achieve success and weird enough, seems like nobody's taking that advice seriously. Then I realized one thing - most people are ALREADY failing before they even get started!
This article is slightly controversial compared to the normal goodie-goodie personal development advice because this is the TRUTH. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children. I want to tell you the truth straight to your face because I've been there and heard the garbage lies thrown everywhere.
Avoid these and you'll automatically be on the right track (provided you want to be successful)…

1. Mixing With Losers

It's a guaranteed way to fail in life with this. Whatever you like to do, losers will just tell you it won't work and after some time, you will also become a loser. High five, welcome to the losers' club. Something about losers you should know: they like to recruit new people and are very comfortable in their shoes. They don't welcome change. So when you see someone with either of these two characteristics, you know what you should do.

2. Don't Know What You Want

The most common goal I hear all of the time is, "I want to be rich". I mean it's fine with that generic goal but the problem is, how rich do you want to be? Or how rich is rich? Put it this way - the methods used to make a million and $3,000 are different. No wonder some people couldn't experience breakthroughs in life because they are playing small for big goals. If you want to make a million, you better put in that level of commitment, bucko.

3. You Want Everything

It's nice to have a lot of things but if you go chasing everything, you get nothing. Let me tell you why - you only have 24 hours a day and you've got to focus on your priorities. I know, I know, you can hire others and so on but the fact is, you've got to want 'something' first to lead to another 'something', then to everything. Make sense?

4. Watching "The Secret" Way Too Much

I'm not here to criticize Law Of Attractions (LOA) and don't want to receive hate emails. As a matter of fact, I do believe in it and have friends who appeared in the Secrets. But it's a surefire way to fail if you keep on watching "The Secret" and doing ‘attraction' by sitting down on your floor manifesting 3 hours a day. In my point of view, scientifically, Law of Attraction runs on the concept of 'believing'. When you believe you can achieve your goal, you will take actions to actually achieve it but if you don't understand this basic element and think LOA is some sort of miracle remedy, oh boy, you're in for a big surprise for failure.

5. You Don't Truly Know Why You Want Success

Wanting everything is bad enough - but it gets even worse if you don't even know the reason why you're trying to achieve your goal. What's the deal? Without a solid reason, a compelling reason, where are you going to find the motivation and encouragement for you to overcome obstacles? You think it's going to be fun ride to success? Then you haven't been traveling - it's a rocky road, my friend. Most people failed to achieve their goals because they never complete the journey– they give up half way (or at the beginning) because they cannot see the worth of accomplishments.

6. You Don't Remember Your Roots

The thing I get most irritated about is people who achieved success and never felt gratitude towards those who have helped them. Is it so hard to say thank you? The law of reciprocity is simple – you return favors to those who helped you in the past. And maybe, they'll help you again in the future. Remember this - it takes more than just you to achieve success, so don't be a jerk.

7. You Think You're Smart

The day you stop learning is the day you stop improving yourself. If you don't want to fail in life, make you sure you stop acting as though you already know everything. The fact is, all successful people are people who continuously learn to be even more successful. They don't stop. Let me put it in this perspective - you don't know what you don't know, you know?

8. You Listen To The Wrong People

I watched this funny movie called, "He Is Just Not That Into You" and it just reaffirmed what I'm about to tell you. At the beginning of the movie, it shows a clip of a boy pushing a girl in the playground because he somehow doesn't like her. He thinks she smells like dog pooh. She cried and asked her mum why did the boy do that to her. And her mum replied, "It's because boys do that to girls when they like you." Do yourself a favor, don't get wrong advice. It'll stick in your brain and lead you to make stupid interpretations in life.

9. You Think Short Term

You'll hear this happening often in many 'successful' people's stories – make a lot of money to lose it all. This probably because they became too comfortable and the other thing is, once you achieve success, you should ride on the wave when the momentum is there. When you think short term, you're only going after the instant pleasure. You must learn to master ‘delay gratification' so that you can enjoy your today's labor.

10. You're Blind To What Is Important In Life

I believe there are only two things that are important in your life – control of time and experiencing happiness. Money, love, big cars, diamonds, etc are the things that contribute to these two benchmarks of successes. For instance, if you have money, you don't need to work so that you can have more time to do the things you like. It's not the money that you're trying to get but what the money CAN DO FOR YOU. I know this topic is bigger than one sentence explanation but I guess you get the point.
So now you know the 10 ways to fail in life. Question is, are you doing any of these? I'll be BS'ng you if I said I don't. I'm human, flesh and blood - I do mistakes too.
But I was fortunate to experience my fair share of success today because I learn powerful lessons from other successful people…
"It's okay to fail and you should fail as many times as you can. That is how you learn but more importantly, you should never give up – each time you get kick dirt in your face, wash your face and ‘fight' back. Don't go crying like a sissy because Mum's not going to come cleaning your face."
Are you ready? Go get your goals.

Do these Things to Release Dynamic Energy:

1. Set some goal for yourself that you are trying to achieve.

Make that goal big enough so that it will excite your imagination
and arouse tremendous interest. Your energies will rise in
proportion to the needs you have. If you have a goal to make only
fifty dollars a week, it is not a very inspiring goal. If you push
that goal and set a figure such as two hundred and fifty dollars a
week, instantly your subconscious mind will release the dynamic
energy and the dynamic ideas to make it possible to achieve the
larger sum.

2. Have some person or persons in your life that you are trying to
help.

This can be your own mate, your children, your mother and father;
whatever it is that you are trying to do for others unselfishly
will automatically give you greater energy and more stamina to
endure and persist. If you live just for yourself, it is unlikely
that you will have more than just enough life-force to exist.
Florence Nightingale was the first woman in history to go out into
battle to help nurse soldiers. She freed womankind from the
restrictions of their sex, and created a new and honorable
profession for women. This frail woman was so inspired by her
desire to help the sick, that it gave her tremendous energy and
vitality.

3. Find work that you really enjoy doing.

And if you happen to be in work you despise get out of it as soon
as possible. Nothing will so quickly lower the curve of energy as
being in work you detest. It has even been known to make some
people chronically sick because they are constantly frustrated.
This restricts the glandular action of the body and depresses the
body organs. But if you are in work you love, your body cells sing
with joy and health and energy, they are stimulated, so that you
constantly feel good.

4. Have hobbies that give you pleasure as well as relaxation.

Dynamic energy is created when your mind is interested in doing
something. It is vitally important that you have avocations as well
as a vocation. The moments you give to painting, writing poetry or
stories, modeling in clay, stamp collecting, rug weaving or
whatever hobby you indulge, are moments well spent, for they will
serve to release energy which will make your regular work easier
and less boring.

5. If you are not already in love with someone, fall in love as
quickly as you can.

Nothing helps release dynamic energy so quickly and potently as
being in love. Science is now aware of the importance of this
powerful emotion in our lives. Children thrive and are healthy when
loved. When denied love they are sickly and lacking in energy and
interest. Later, we shall learn more about this powerful emotion,
for it is one of the big and important revelations of our Million
Dollar Secret.

6. Set daily goals for yourself that you are trying to achieve.

If you are a salesman, set a certain number of sales. If an author,
set a certain number of pages you wish to write. If a student, a
certain course of study which you do regularly. It has been found
that the mind responds to the challenge of direct suggestion. If
you know you are going to play eighteen holes of golf, the body and
brain see to it that the necessary energy and drive are created to
carry you through that course. If a prize fighter builds himself up
mentally to take on a certain opponent, his body will release the
energy to carry him into that ring facing formidable opposition. As
you achieve these small goals at first, keep raising the level of
your goal, until you have reached a high peak of energy and
achievement.

7. Each day, when you start your activities, say a series of
suggestions that will be energy-boosters to your subconscious mind.

Here are a few you might memorize and repeat every day when you
feel the need of inspiration or greater mental or physical energy.

* I am strong and healthy.
* I can accomplish anything I desire.
* I am young and vital, and my body now responds with new
energy and vitality to do all my tasks today.
* I am happy, happy, happy.
* I find joy in my work and my life sparkles with interest and
happiness.
* I have faith in myself, my work and my destiny.
* I now extend this faith to the entire world.
* I am successful, well-liked, and attract friends to myself.
* I now radiate confidence, poise and inner power.
* I love everyone I meet, and they will in turn love me.
* I am rich as any millionaire; with gifts of mental and
physical health, free estates of parks, and the golden gifts
of friendship, love, peace, happiness and beauty.

Whenever you feel tired or discouraged, or your energy is low, just
stop whatever you are doing, breathe deeply for ten or fifteen
times, say all of the above energy-boosters, and really mean them,
then you will see how quickly your mind recovers its sharpness, and
your body becomes filled with new energy and vitality.

9 HAPPINESS SECRETS

The 9 Happiness Secrets by Brian Vaszily

1) Embrace New Experiences.
Most people suffer from merely existing versus really living. Don’t
get caught in a rut; get out of it if you are. Explore. Play. Go
beyond your comfort zone. Don’t lean on the excuse “I don’t have
time to try new things.” It is as tragic and ridiculous as saying
“I don’t have time to breathe.” New experiences are life. Live
deeply.

2) Be Who You Are.
Recognize and clear through what others expect of you, including
society’s expectations, your parents’ expectations, the opposite
genders’ expectations, and anyone’s expectations. Recognize and
clear through the guilt, anger, fear and other emotions that are
sabotaging you. What are your dreams? Your goals? Your loves? Who
are you? Be that person.

3) Let Go of the Past.
The past is good for two things: the happy memories, and the
lessons it provides. Clinging to resentment and sadness for past
events hurts one person the most: you. Don’t let the past suck the
gift of the present out of you. Forgive. Let go. Be here now, and
go forward.

4) Be Kind.
It is easy to act kindly to those who have been kind to you. Do so,
but also remember that is not where kindness is needed most. Recall
those many times where you made mistakes, where you reacted out of
negative emotions instead of responding from who you really are.
Recall how you felt, or how you would have felt, if others
responded to your mistakes with kindness instead of harsh criticism
or a cold shoulder. Negativity only breeds more negativity.
Empathize, and choose to be kind. It spreads rapidly.

5) Be Responsible for Yourself.
Whatever happens, however promising or tragic, only one person is
responsible for how you respond to it: you. There are no greater
wastes of energy and potential than blame, envy, a desire for
revenge, and wallowing in self-pity. You and only you are
responsible for how you respond to anything and how you act. You
wish others were a certain way? You wish the world were a certain
way? Be the example.

6) Nurture Relationships.
Think of your most joyful moments. Think of all you have learned.
Think of what has helped you grow. Chances are great these all
involve other people, and other relations such as pets and nature
too. There are over six billion people on this earth. There are
infinite relationships to be had. Everyone has something to
understand and to learn from. There is infinite love to be had, and
to give. You can choose to be lonely, but you are never alone.

7) Recognize All You Have, and Be Grateful for It.
If you are alive, you are fortunate. If you can read this, you are
fortunate. If you can walk, talk, see, smell, taste, or feel, or
all of these, you are fortunate. You are what you focus on, so if
you focus on what you lack, you become that lack. Focus on all that
you do have, on the gifts inside and all around you. Be grateful to
be great.

8) Do What Inspires You.
Painting, singing, writing, biking, swimming, gardening, reading,
dancing, walking, woodcarving … what is your flame? What ignites
you, inspires you, enlightens you, restores your life? Do it, and
do it often. Do not believe your excuse of having too much work to
do and too little time for what inspires you. Doing what inspires
you is the very fuel that will give you the strength and motivation
to do the other things you need to do, and do them well.

9) Remember that Happiness is a State, Not a Circumstance
Happiness is a state of being, not merely a moment of pleasure or
joy. By committing to your happiness you acknowledge and accept
that there will be times of challenge and suffering, but by staying
true to who you are you will not just endure but thrive. Happiness
is not just the bird floating serenely on the water, and happiness
is not made unhappy by the rock that falls and temporarily disturbs
the water. Happiness is the water itself, always being exactly what
it is.

friends and co-workers. Please pass it on to teachers so they can
share it with their students. Please pass it on to bloggers,
journalists, politicians and anyone who reaches large numbers of
people so they can share it too. I wrote it to be shared, because I
simply believe good things will come to all of us with the message
it carries on being happy. I hope you agree. -- Brian Vaszily

MAN IN THE MIRROR

If you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say

For it isn't a man's father, mother or wife
Whose judgement upon him must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in his life
Is the man staring back from the glass

He's the fellow to please, never mind the rest
For he's with you clear up to the end
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the man in the glass is your friend

You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward wil be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass
